SATB is a lot of gear to haul around anywhere...
Comments about Gard Saxophone Wheelie Bag in Synthetic with Leather Trim:
But in the SFBay area parking isn't always easy or close. This bag provides the flexibility and protection that I need for my tenor.

So far so good...
Comments about Gard Saxophone Wheelie Bag in Synthetic with Leather Trim:
This has been great for our daughter playing Bari Sax at school. Its a big instrument to drag around especially on and off the bus. Built in backpack straps are great too. It doubles as a stand at gigs if you have the room as it sits in the upright position. It really needs a pouch big enough for music though and could be price prohibitive for some parents.

Just what I needed!
Comments about Gard Saxophone Wheelie Bag in Synthetic with Leather Trim:
Fits an alto and Tenor saxophone, perfectly.
Front and side pockets can fit a flute and piccolo case, along with accessories just great.
Had to makes some modifications to the case and then make my own clarinet case to fit in the
front pocket. Other than that,it is a perfect case.

Makin' life easier!
PROS: Easy To Use, Functional, Good Quality, Light-weight.
BEST USES: Storage, To And From, Travel
Comments about Gard Doubler's Tenor and Soprano Saxophone Wheelie Bag:
Adequate sized wheels and handle. Back-pack staps. Sturdy zippers. Adjustable/removeable pads for sides and bottom. Very flexible: will hold two tenors or two altos or two sopranos; tenor & alto; tenor and soprano; alto & soprano. I now have two saxes in one pack which I can wear as a back-pack so my hands are free to open doors, etc.

"Gard Leather Tenor Sax/Soprano Bag"
PROS: Functional, Good Quality, Sturdy.
CONS: heavy.
BEST USES: Concerts, Gigs.
Comments about Gard Doubler's Tenor and Soprano Saxophone Wheelie Bag:
Overall the bag is well constructed, and has plenty of room for my Tenor and Alto sax, and I also can carry my flute (with a French case) easily in the side pocket. I wish the bag had a side handle so it would be easier to load it in the trunk of my car, but that's not a deal breaker. Having this bag also allows for more trunk space in my car for other items or gear. Great gig back, and has that wonderful leather smell when you first open it!

"NOT for airlines. A well-made monster!"
PROS: Functional, Good Quality.
CONS: Difficult To Use, Way Too Big For Travel.
BEST USES: Baby Stroller For Toddler
Comments about Gard Doubler's Tenor and Soprano Saxophone Wheelie Bag:
OK, I was looking for a way to get tenor and soprano saxes in one bag for flying, so they were just one carry-on item. I searched and searched for any reviews that mentioned flying, but found none. So for the benefit of those like myself, NO this will not fit in the overhead. It is a monstrosity that is more like an oversized golf bag than an instrument case. That being said, big thumbs up for quality. I bought the most expensive all-leather version. Case looks to be ultra-protective for a soft-side. Love the wheels, and really love the backpack straps. Very well-thought-out and well made case. Just way, way too big. If they got rid of all the huge pockets protruding from every side, that would be a help. Pictures online don't really show how wide this baby is. This might be a good solution for the few who need tenor and alto in the same bag on wheels, but not a good choice for the traveling musician. I will look into the tenor-only version, but this one is going back unused.

"Put a Handle on it."
PROS: Good Quality, Well Made, Awesome Lookin.
CONS: Difficult To Use, No Side Carrying Handel.
BEST USES: Concerts, Use Most Of The Time.
Comments about Gard Doubler's Tenor and Soprano Saxophone Wheelie Bag:
The double Tenor and Sop. leather wheelie is almost perfect, but they should have added a side luggage handle, to carry the bag up and down stairs. Very difficult when you carrying a tenor, and sop. The old design was good with the luggage handle on the side. There is still room enough to add handle without taking away the side pockets. A person must be very strong to lift full bag when walking up, and down stairs.

"Great bag, but I wish I could fit my clarinet in it, also.".
I love this case; it fits my alto and tenor, or alto and soprano, or tenor and soprano. There are two side pockets. and my slim Pearl flute case fits perfectly in one of them. The other one holds tools, cables, etc. The front pocket is where I put my reeds. I bought a Lego Mini-figure case at Target to keep the reeds in place, so I don't have to hunt for them in the roomy pocket.
I love the fact that I don't have to hurt my back as much, hauling around my gear. The wheels are awesome. I hope they stand up; as a college teacher, I also have a rolling computer bag, and I went through a few of them before I found a Swiss Army bag; it's the first one that still doesn't have broken wheels. I hope that Gard gets their wheels from the same place. But for now, I'm enjoying the heck out of not lifting and carrying all of my instruments. The exception is when I lift the bag up to fit in my van, but that's not so bad if I use good body mechanics.
The only drawback is that I haven't found a way to fit my clarinet in this gig bag. The side pocket would be a good choice, if I had a clarinet case that was more narrow (think of two parallel rows, with the mouthpiece, barrel and upper joint in one row, and the lower joint and bell in the other). I'd gladly buy a case like that, and keep the tools and cables in another gig bag. But I haven't been able to find such a case. If Gard was to make one that would specifically fit this doubler's case (I guess I'm a "quadrupler"), I'd buy it in an instant.

"Close, but no Cookie..."
PROS: Easy To Use.
CONS: Not Functional.
Comments about Gard Doubler's Tenor and Soprano Saxophone Wheelie Bag:
The GARD Wheelie bags are an oustanding solution for safe and convenient transport of saxes...especially with the dual sax configurations. I purchased this bag, but when it arrived noted that the "cones" that fit in the bell of my saxophone would not stay in place because the soft-side Velcro was not there. In photos it showed the soft-side velcro would line the entire flap that opens up to put in/remove the saxes. But discovered, after two tries with the lowest cost GARD Wheelie bag, that the lowest price model cuts corners, one of them being only have the soft-sided material on a portion of the flap...at the top. So, the bell "cone" would not adhere to the flap, thus leaving my tenor flopping around in the slot. I then went up to the next model (leather trim) which DID have the fully lined soft-velcro material and the bell "cone" then worked to hold my tenor in place while transporting it. Bottom line...the concept is great, but you'll have to buy the more expensive models if you want the case to viably protect your horn(s)! I expressed my opinion to Musician's Friend and another major music retailer that they should reject these cases until GARD fixes this important issue. My new, more expensive model, is AWESOME!
